Breaking: Bomb explodes in Isulan, Sultan Kudarat

DAVAO CITY (August 28)— A bomb exploded in Isulan, Sultan Kudarat while the people were  in the middle of celebrating the 7th Hamungaya Festival.

As of 10:30 in the evening, a source  from Isulan said one was confirmed dead while 34 were wounded.

The bomb exploded  along the Highway just about 200 meters away from the municipal gym.

A source said three persons placed a bag under a parked motorbike near a row of “Ukay-ukay” stalls.

Sketchy reports claim the bomb exploded at about 8:40 in the evening.

A facebook post by Peter Evangelista  stated  “It was 8:40 pm I thought fireworks. But a bomb just exploded. Grabe pud ning mga tawong naay laing balak! Kaluoy sa victims oy. Seeing more ambulance bitaw na pabalik balik then family na nagascream.”

Translation (It was 8:40 pm, I thought fireworks. But a bomb just exploded. People who have bad intentions! I pity the victims, seeing more ambulance coming in and out, then family screaming).

 

Evangelista  posted: At 9:17 another bomb exploded! 9:32 another bomb just found.

Newsline is trying to contact Isulan PNP but to no avail.
