DAVAO CITY, Philippines—The father of the terrorist Maute brothers was arrested at about 10:am Tuesday at the Checkpoint of task Force Davao in Sirawan, Toril here.
Casamora Maute, the father of Maute brothers Abdullah and Omar was travelling with is second wife Farhana aboard a Toyota Grandia along with their daughter Norhana Balawag Maute and husband Benzarali Tingao when they were arrested.
The Sirawan checkpoint serves as he main security gate to enter Davao City from the South.
