Burglar enters four houses, he failed thrice

DAVAO CITY — A suspected burglar entered four houses in an exclusive subdivision, he failed thrice but succeeded on his third victim on Saturday dawn January 21, 2023.

Unfortunately, all the houses he tried to break in were equipped with CCTV, which recorded his adventure.

The houses are located in Libby Road, Talomo District, this city.

The still unidentified suspect was wearing sleeveless top, short pants and a ball cap.

On his first victim, the suspect was able to enter compound thru the high fence and enter the house via the window, but the househelp who was so scared managed to call 911 and the police on a loud voice, prompting the suspect to run.

On his second victim, the suspect was about to enter the house but the human sensor alarmed, again. he failed.

On his third victim, he was able to enter the house and took some cash, jewelries and other valuables because the owner forgot to lock the glass window.

On his supposed fourth victim, the owner noticed something was not right and switched on the lights, the cctv footage only recorded the footprints of the suspect.

Based on the CCTV footage provided to Newsline, the suspect escaped onboard a waiting motorbike outsied th exclusive village.

The Saturday incident was not the first in said subdivision, there were many instances in the past but the suspect remain unidentified.

The homeowners association is scheduled to hold a general assembly before the month ends.-Paul T. Palacio
