Caught on CCTV: Robbers steal P280,000 after bank withdrawal in Cotabato

COTABATO CITY – In an incident captured on CCTV, a suspect made off with approximately ₱280,000 from a woman who had just withdrawn money from a Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) branch in Cotabato City. The theft occurred just past 12 pm on Wednesday.

According to Police Station 1 Commander PCapt. Teofisto Ferrer, the victim had withdrawn barangay funds from the bank. The person who withdrew the money is reportedly the spouse of the Barangay Chairman in Lamud, South Upi, Maguindanao Sur.

Authorities are currently conducting an investigation into the incident.
