KIDAPAWAN CITY – The distribution of “Non-Accountable Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Election Supplies and Ballot Boxes” by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) for Cotabato Province began yesterday, September 20, at the Capitol Main Building in Amas, Kidapawan City.

Fourteen municipal treasurers and the city treasurer from Kidapawan City gathered to collect their supplies sent by COMELEC to the Provincial Treasurer’s Office. These supplies are essential for the preparation of the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections scheduled for October 30 this year.

The municipalities included in this distribution are Antipas, Banisilan, M’lang, Midsayap, Pikit, Pigcawayan, President Roxas, Makilala, Libungan, Aleosan, Tulunan, Magpet, Kabacan, and Matalam.

It’s worth noting that last month, 818 ballot boxes were initially delivered to the provincial capitol, followed by 844 boxes of non-accountable Barangay and SK election supplies in the past weeks.

On September 21, Carmen, Arakan, and Alamada municipalities also collected their election supplies from the Municipal Treasurer’s Office.
