DAVAO CITY, Philippines — A construction worker is now the subject of a police manhunt after stabbing his partner to death following a drinking spree at a job site on Sunday night, June 2, in Purok Burgende, Barangay Tacunan, Tugbok District.

The Tugbok police identified the victim as Emilia Fuentes Abo-Abo, 55 years old.

According to the police investigation, the couple had been drinking together at around 5:30 in the afternoon. They returned home, but at around 7:45 in the evening, neighbors heard the victim screaming. Upon checking, they saw the suspect, Abo-Abo’s live-in partner, dragging her from the second floor of their residence before fleeing in an unknown direction.
