Covid-19 sample collection booths ibutang tibuok nasud

DAVAO CITY — Ang Department of Science and Technology (DOST) magbutang og mga 132 ka sample specimen collecting booths sa tibuok nasud aron pagtabang sa pag-testing sa katawhan para coronavirus disease (Covid-19).

Si Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles nag-ingon nga ang pagbutang of mga specimen collection booths gituyo aron mapun-an ang 16 ka mga Covid-19 testing centers sa nasud nga accredited sa Department of Health (DOH).

Ang mga regional office sa DOST makigtambayayong sa DOH alang sa pagbutang og mga sample collecting booths sa matag rehiyon sa Pilipinas.

Sa usa ka post sa Facebook, gipahibalo ni DOST Secretary Fortunato dela Peña nga mga 34 ka specimen collection booth ang ibutang sa Metro Manila.

Magbutang usab og 10 ka collection booth sa Zamboanga Peninsula, walo sa Central Luzon, ug pito sa Central Visayas.

Tag-unom ka collection booth ang ibutang sa Cordillera Administrative Region, Ilocos Region, Cagayan Valley, ug Western Visayas.

Sa Bicol Region ug Northern Mindanao magbutang og tag-lima ka collection booth, samtang sa Calabarzon, Davao Region, ug Caraga Region butangan og tag-upat.

Magbutang usab og tag-tulo ka specimen collection booth sa Eastern Visayas ug Soccksargen, samtang duha ang ibutang sa Mimaropa.

“Aming ilalabas ang mga karagdagang detalye ng mga napiling pasilidad na mapagkalooban ng mga collection booths sa mga susunod na araw,” pulong pa ni dela Peña.

Ang Pilipinas kasamtangang adunay 16 ka mga Covid-19 testing center nga accredited sa DOH.

Sa Metro Manila ang mga testing laboratory naa sa UP National Institutes of Health ug San Lazaro Hospital sa Manila; Philippine Red Cross ug Detoxicare Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory sa Mandaluyong; Lung Center of the Philippines, St. Luke’s Medical Center ug Victoriano Luna Hospital sa Quezon City; The Medical City sa Pasig; Makati Medical Center; St. Luke’s Medical Center sa Taguig; ug Research Institute for Tropical Medicine sa Muntinlupa.

Ang mga otorisadong testing center gawas sa Metro Manila naa sa Baguio General hospital and Medical Center, Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center sa Cebu, Southern Philippines Medical Center sa Davao, Western Visayas Medical Center sa Iloilo, ug sa Bicol Diagnostic and Reference Laboratory sa Legazpi City.

Pulong pa ni Nograles nga daghan pang mga testing laboratory ang pagabuksan human sila makakuha og sertipikasyon gikan sa DOH.

Suportado sa Inter-Ageny Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) ang pag-accredit sa tanang testing laboratory sa nasud, apil na ang naa sa Marikina City.

“As a general rule, the IATF fully supports the establishment and accreditation of all testing laboratories in the Philippines that will help us increase our testing capabilities and capacities. Necessarily, kasama na po diyan yung sa Marikina. Kaunti na lang at ma-accredit na sila,” sulti ni Nograles, nga kinsa usab nagsilbing tigpamaba sa IATF-EID. (LBG)
