Customs forfeits Skyjet aircraft

DAVAO CITY (July 20)-— The Bureau of Customs in the Port of Ninoy Aquino International Airport ordered the forfeiture of an 80-seater aircraft after its owners failed to pay the customs duties and taxes from the time of its importation.

Customs Commissioner Isidro Lapeña said the company failed to pay their duties to the government.

The aircraft is forfeited in favor of the government.-EZC/NewsLine.ph
