Col. Alexander Tagum, DCPO chief, said the simultaneous operations around the city resulted in identity or background checking and profiling of 990 residents.

Of the figure, 25 persons were arrested by virtue of warrants of arrest for various serious criminal cases, including violence against women and children, gambling, illegal drugs, illegal cutting of trees, malicious mischief, violation of the regulation on trust receipts transactions, acts of lasciviousness, and homicide.

During the Oplan Kalinaw operations, Tagum said a total of 540 residents availed of the free medical check-up, supplemental food feeding, and 318 persons received free medicines and vitamins.
