Davao hosts largest construction expo

DAVAO CITY – The city is hosting the 2023 Philippine Building and Construction Exposition (PHILBEX) which started on Thursday and ends on Sunday, May 14 at the SMX Convention Center here.

The event is biggest and dubbed as the most comprehensive building and construction trade show and Travel and Leisure Expo (TLEX) is attended by over 300 exhibitors from different regions in the country.

Name it, they have it, from ordinary to complicated construction materials, equipment and designs. Visitors are given a glimpse of modern technology and design.

Event guest of honor, Secretary Leo Tereso Magno, he Presidential Assistant for Eastern Mindanao encouraged the participants to explore the vast potential in Mindanao as the center of construction given the development opportunities opening in the region.

What we lack are the tourists to come in and enjoy them,.”
