Davao region imposes No vaccine Card, No entry

DAVAO CITY — The Philippine National Police (PNP) Regional Office XI has implemented the no vaccine, no entry, in Davao region.

Police Regional Director PGen. Filmore Escobal on Friday said, he ordered the implementation of the directive of PNP Chief PGen. Dionardo Carlos on the need to present the vaccination card in all Quarantine Control Points.

The PNP regional Command shall implement “No Vaccination Card, No Entry” and each police units must have their respective reception area to cater the public who are availing police service and/or seeking for assistance.

Escobal said the directive was in line with the PNP’s effort to ensure the protection of the Davao Region from the spike of COVID 19 cases.

This measure is necessary due to the recent emergence and increase in the positivity rate of COVID-19 cases Omicron variant.

Escobal vows on the usual delivery of quality police as PRO 11 is always finding means and ways to better serve the people of Davao Region despite the odds and circumstances at hand.
