The Davao International Airport closes its doors to all domestic air travel effective 00:01 on Thursday, March 19, 2020.

The suspension of the domestic air travel will continue until the succeeding 14 days or when the Infectious Disease Specialists shall deem it satisfactory to lift the prohibition.

Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte issued Executive Order No. 13 or a declaration and order for the suspension of all domestic air travel to and from Davao City.

The Covid-19 Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) banned 11 flights in and out of Metro Manila to contain the disease in the area.

Earlier Duterte issued Executive Order No. 9 which bans flights from Clark to Davao City to deter passengers from Manila in coming to Davao via Clark. (MCV)
