Department of Agriculture donates equipment to associations and cooperatives in Malungon, Sarangani

MALUNGON, SARANGANI – The Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office XII Corn Program turned over machinery and equipment to local government authorities under the FY 2023 allocation on September 25.

The turnover ceremony, held at Sunken Arena, Malungon, Sarangani Province, saw the handover of various equipment, including four-wheel-drive tractors for the Datal Batong Farmers Association and the Lamlifew IP Farmers Association. Another four-wheel-drive tractor was given to the Datal Baca Protected Area Farmers Association under the HVCD Program. Additionally, a hauling truck was provided to the Upper Biangan Farmers Agriculture Cooperative under the Rice Program.

This initiative represents the Department of Agriculture’s commitment to supporting local associations and cooperatives in the agricultural sector, aiming to enhance productivity and efficiency in farming practices. The machinery and equipment donated are expected to contribute significantly to the success of these organizations in Sarangani Province.
