DFA main office closes due to Covid-19 cases

DAVAO CITY — The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) main office building in Roxas Boulevard, Pasay City will be temporarily closed beginning today, 28 July.

The agency in a press statement said “We will be temporarily closed beginning Tuesday, 28 July, and until further notice as part of the Department’s assessment of public health and safety measures currently in place”.

It added, they will issue another announcement within 48 hours after the assessment.

Meanwhile, the DFA-Consular Office in ASEANA and all other Consular Offices will remain open for service, in accordance with their publicized operating hours.

In a related tweet on Monday, Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin, Jr. said the DFA headquarters is “in lockdown from COVID-19 outbreak”.-Newsline.ph
