DOH Caraga delivers essential supplies to ‘Last-Mile Schools’ in Butuan City

Butuan City, September 21, 2023 – The Department of Health CHD Caraga, in cooperation with the Butuan City Health Office and the Department of Education (DepEd) Butuan City Division, has completed the second phase of the turnover of essential school supplies and logistics to support the Healthy Learning Institutions (HLI) for Pilot Last Mile Elementary Schools within Butuan City.

The turnover led by DOH Caraga included a wide range of essential resources aimed at enhancing the learning experiences of students. The items distributed during the event encompassed laptops, air coolers, water dispensers, laminator machines, speakers, backpacks, watercolors, paper, whiteboards, blackboards, erasers, calculators, markers, envelopes, folders, and manila papers. Additionally, vital supplemental ferrous sulfate vitamins were distributed as part of this initiative.
