Duterte meets Muslim leaders eve of his birthday

DAVAO CITY, Philippines — President Rodrigo Duterte met Muslim officials at the Matina Enclaves here, eve of his 73rd Birthday.

Presidential Adviser of Peace Process Secretary Jesus Dureza led the group with  Secretary of the Presidential Adviser on Legislative Affairs Adelino Sitoy, MILF chairperson Al Haj Murad,  Bangsamoro Transition Council  Ghazali Jaafar and Mohagher Iqbal.

The proposed BBL  Bill or (Batayang Batas para sa Rehiyong Awtonomo ng Bangsamoro ), is pending for approval at the House of Representatives. The BBL sought to establish a proposed new autonomous political entity known as the Bangsamoro  Autonomous Region,.

Duterte will turn 73 tomorrow, March 28, 2018. As usual Duterte will spend his birthday with his family,  it will be a private affair..-Rey Nuñez/Newsline.ph
