Duterte to commemorate the 121st Independence Day in Mindanao

DAVAO CITY (June 12) —President Rodrigo Duterte will join people of Mindanao to commemorate today’s 121st Independence Day.

Duterte in his Independence Day asked the Filipino people to commit themselves “To ensure that their sacrifices have not been in vain and that their dream of truly independent Philippines-whose people live freely in a secure, stable and prosperous society- will be achieved within our lifetimes.”
