DAVAO CITY — President Rodrigo Roa Duterte has called on critics who want to oust him to “come out,” as he fired back at Senator Antonio Trillanes over the revelation of Peter Joemel Advincula, linking the latter to the production of the controversial “Bikoy” videos.

Duterte reiterated he will not stay longer if people want him to step down. He said he does not want even a single bullet spent just to oust him.

“Anong makuha ninyo kung patayin ninyo ako? At ‘yang mga black propaganda — eventually, the truth will come out (What do get if you kill me? Those black propaganda – eventually the truth will come out),” he said.

Speaking at the thanksgiving get-together organized by the supporters of Senator-elect Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go on Thursday evening here, Duterte slammed Trillanes, saying the senator has shamed himself in the process.

“Binaboy mo ang Senado (You besmirched the Senate). You use power to run after people. Karami mong kotse at properties nakalista sa ibang tao. Lalabas rin yan. Walang hiya ka at hindi ka lalaki (You have so many cars and properties listed under the names of other people. That will come out. You are shameless and you are not man enough),” Duterte said.

The President slammed Trillanes for the latter’s supposed penchant for using dummies to hide illegally-acquired properties.

“Ikaw ‘yung number one na gagamit ng dummy. Lalabas rin ‘yan. Pero sabi ko walang hiya ka (You are the number one user of dummies. That will come out. But I said you are shameless),” Duterte said.

On Thursday, Advincula, who had introduced himself as Bikoy and claimed he was behind the “Ang Totoong Narco-list”, made a complete turnaround from his exposé in the video.

He had earlier linked the President and his family to the narco trade. Advincula said all statements in the video were all lies.

He tagged Trillanes, Senator Risa Hontiveros, the Liberal Party, and the defeated Otso Diretso senatorial slate as behind the production of the videos, all meant to destabilize the administration.-PNA
