Elderly Filipino Week Celebrated in Valencia City, Bukidnon

BUKIDNON – The vibrant celebration of the Elderly Filipino Week took place yesterday, October 10, 2023, as senior citizens from 31 barangays in Valencia City, Bukidnon, joined the festivity.

The event was organized by the Office of the Senior Citizens Affairs and the City Social Welfare and Development Office. It received full support from the local government, featuring various presentations and joyful activities in which senior citizens actively participated.

The city commemorates the Elderly Filipino Week annually in accordance with Proclamation No. 470, Series of 1994. This year’s theme is “Honoring the Invaluable Legacy of Filipino Senior Citizens,” emphasizing the significant contributions of senior citizens to the well-being of the community.
