DAVAO CITY — A father died after trying save his son from falling off the pick up he was driving.
The incident happened near Crossing Cuevas, in Trento Agusan del Sur yesterday afternoon January 2, 2024.
Police investigatoion report indicated that the victim’s son suddenly opened the car door while they were traveling along NRJ road, in Trento, Sta. Josefa, Agusan del Sur prompting the father to secure his son. However, the father instead fell and hit his head on the cemented road causing his death.
The victim was rushed to the hospital, but was declared dead upon arrival by the attending physician.
The family asked the police to withheld the identity of the father and the son as they mourn their demise.
