Filipina dies after falling from a building in UAE

Dubai, UAE – The Philippine Consulate General in Dubai and Northern Emirates has confirmed that M.R., a 22-year-old OFW residing in Ajman, fell from the third floor of a building on November 23.

She was declared dead on arrival at the Sheikh Khalifa Hospital.

Consul General Paul Raymund Cortes said he has reported the incident to the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) head office in Manila and has been in touch with the relatives of the deceased for the repatriation of her remains.

Cortes added his office is closely coordinating with Ajman Authorities who are currently conducting an investigation on the incident. -Henri Abenis-Macahilo/NewsLine.ph
