Fuel  prices down by P2 per liter  next week

DAVAO CITY — Fuel prices are expected to go down next week, as oil  companies are expected to to cut prices next week the Unioil Petroleum Philippines announced on Saturday.

The prices of gasoline may go down by ₱2.80 to ₱3.10 per liter while diesel may be cheaper by ₱2.30 to ₱2.50 per liter.

Unioil said the rollback is expected from Oct. 10 to 16.

This development came in the wake of series of oil price increase previous weeks.

The Department of Energy’s monitoring on Oct. 3 showed the oil price adjustments have resulted in a year-to-date increase of gasoline by ₱15.30 per liter, diesel by ₱13.80 per liter, and kerosene by ₱8.94 per liter.
