Gasoline prices up, diesel rollback after Holy Week

Prices of gasoline is expected to increase after the Holy Week while expect a rollback in the prices of diesel, oil industry players manifested during the weekend.

Oil players forecasted that during the first week of April, gasoline prices are expected to increase by P0.30 to P0.50 per liter. While Diesel prices are expected to decrease by P0.55 to P0.75.

There is no Mean of Platts Singapore (MOPS) trading on Friday, according to the oil industry source.

Mean of Platts Singapore is a pricing basis for many refined products in Southeast Asia. It refers to the average price reported by the price assessment agency Platts for a product in the Singapore trading hub. For most refined products, MOPS is the benchmark price for the Asia market.
