Gunmen kidnapped British national and his Filipina wife in Tukuran, Zamboanga del Sur

 DAVAO CITY — A British National and his Filipina wife were kidnapped by still unidentified armed men in Barangay Alindahaw, Tukuran, Zamboanga del Sur at around 6:50 in the evening, October 4.

Couple Allan Arthur Hyrons, British national and wife Wilma Hyrons were inside the family-owned beach resort attending to some guests when armed men swooped and forcibly took them onboard two separate speed boats.

Tukuran Police chief Master Sergeant Oliver Cimafranca, in an interview with One Tv Mindanao said two persons checked inn at the resort hours before the abduction took place.

Reports stated, the suspects arrived aboard two boats from the beach while the others arrived on foot.

The couple also owns the Hyrons College Philippines in the same town.

Local police said authorities are looking at “personal grudge” as one of the possible motives for the abduction. Search operations are ongoing, it added.-ezc/NewsLine.ph
