International cruise ship visits Bucas Grande in Surigao Norte

 DAVAO CITY — Surigao del Norte takes pride when a renowned international passenger cruise ship, the Heritage Adventurer, visited the beautiful Sohoton Cove in the town of Sohoton, Bucas Grande, Socorro, Surigao del Norte during the weekend.

The vessel was loaded with 61 passengers and 10 crew visited the beautiful island and enjoyed their stay.

The guests were welcomed by the personnel from DOT and the local government officials of Socorro town who accorded them welcome leis and drinks.

Among the attractions visited by the group were the Hagukan Cave, Diving Cave and Jellyfish Sanctuary. The cruise’s passengers, upon experiencing the natural beauty and warm hospitality of the town, are likely to share their positive experiences, leading to increased interest in visiting Socorro.

With the visit of Heritage Adventure, the tourism industry in Socorro expects a surge of visitors and will get much exposures.

The island is filled with natural wonders, one can enjoy the pristine and clean beaches, enchanting lagoons, and breathtaking landscapes.

Sohoton Cove is a hidden gem which slowly getting discovered by nature lovers around the world.

The tourists left the island on Sunday afternoon for their next stop which is Indonesia.

“The tourism industry in Socorro is expected to experience a surge in popularity, thanks to the exposure and interest generated by the Heritage Adventurer’s arrival,” the DOT-13 in a Facebook post stated.

 The town of Socorro is known for its pristine beaches, enchanting lagoons, and breathtaking landscapes. The famous Sohoton Cove, the agency said, is considered a hidden gem of the town waiting to be discovered by travelers from all around the world.
