COTABATO PROVINCE –The formal launch of the Kadiwa ng Pangulo program, in support of the Diwa at Gawa para sa Masaganang Ani at Mataas na Kita (Spirit and Work for Abundant Harvest and High Income), took place today, July 17, at the Provincial Covered Court in Amas, Kidapawan City.

The program aims to sell agricultural products directly to farmers at higher prices, eliminating the need for intermediaries or middlemen. It also provides ordinary consumers with the opportunity to purchase affordable goods.

Leading the launch of the Kadiwa ng Pangulo program was Governor Emmalou Lala Talino-Mendoza, accompanied by OIC-Department of Agriculture (DA) Regional Executive Director John Pascual, Department of the Interior and Local Government Provincial Director Ali Abdullah, partner agencies, and officials from various local government units in Cotabato.

The provincial government extended its gratitude to the DA 12 for their support and assistance in implementing the program, particularly in helping farmers improve their farm yield and income. According to the DA, many farmers in the province have benefited from the assistance provided by the provincial government through various programs.

Governor Mendoza expressed her support for the Kadiwa ng Pangulo program and commended the initiative of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., who aims to address the low prices of agricultural products in the market.

The provincial government assured its collaboration with the DA in the successful implementation of programs for the benefit of farmers.
