Lending Company Account Officer Fatally Shot in Digos City

DIGOS CITY – An account officer of a lending company lost his life in a shooting on Thursday, November 23.

The victim was identified as Glenboy Monday Aldeguer, 42, and a resident of Santo Tomas, Barangay Igpit, Digos City, Davao Del Sur, .

The Digos City Police swiftly responded to the incident, finding Aldeguer lying beside his motorcycle, lifeless. According to the initial investigation, the victim was riding his motorcycle from Roxas Extension Road. Upon reaching Purok Talisay, Barangay San Miguel, Digos City, he was ambushed and shot dead by an unidentified assailant.

The perpetrator fled the scene immediately, and the police are actively pursuing leads to determine the motive behind the crime.

The Digos City Police have yet to release further details as the investigation is still ongoing.
