Local government of Baganga donates materials for two district schools in support of Brigada Eskwela

DAVAO ORIENTAL – The local government of Baganga in Davao Oriental donated essential materials to two district schools as part of the ongoing Brigada Eskwela 2023 initiative by the Department of Education. The donation ceremony took place on Tuesday morning, August 15, at the Municipal Activity Center on Conception Street, Baganga.

The donated materials included 90 pieces of plywood, 90 cans of latex paint, 90 containers of enamel, 90 reams of A4 coupon bond, 44 bottles of toilet cleaner, and 44 bottles of bleach.

This initiative was spearheaded by Mayor Ronald Pepot Lara, in collaboration with Vice Mayor Modesto Moding Layupan, the Local School Board, and the Committee Chair on Education. The aim is to provide necessary materials for the Brigada Eskwela campaign, ensuring that the local schools in Baganga are well-prepared for the upcoming academic year.

The donation underscores the commitment of the Baganga local government to support education and contribute to the improvement of school facilities, ultimately enhancing the learning environment for students.
