DAVAO CITY –Lovers Jeff Predas and Jennifer Chavez died due to multiple stab wounds, the autopsy result showed.

The two were found dead in two separate areas at the Camella Northpoint condominium in Bajada this city last Sunday, April 21.

The chest wounds caused Predas’ death while Chavez was due to the deep stab wound on her collarbone.

Predas is from ParaƱaque Metro Manila while Chaves is from Bacoor, Cavite.

It can be recalled that the two went to the city to watch a concert on Saturday night but while the event was ongoing Chavez went missing prompting her friends to ask the organizers to post on screen that she was gone, some of her friends also posted on social media that she went missing.

ON Sunday at around 5:24 in the morning, authorities found Predas’ lifeless body on the ground floor of the condominium which police later learned was thrown from the 6th floor of the building.

While Chavez was found at around 10:10 P.M. on Sunday inside Room 319, after the police conducted a door to door search to establish the identity of the then unidentified Predas.

Police authorities now have two persons of interest who are from Sultan Kudarat and were occupants of room 323, the adjacent room where Chavez was found dead. The police withheld the identities of the persons of interest.

Investigators have established that Chavez was in contact with POI number 2. The same person who booked the rooms for the victims.

Davao City Police Director Colonel Richard Bad-ang earlier said POI number 2 is a friend of Chavez.

Police investigators had a hard time in probing the incident as the closed circuit televisions of the condominium were not functioning when the crime happened.

Davao City has an ordinance mandating all establishments to install CCTV before they will be issued a certificate of occupancy.

Crime of passion or personal grudge, according to Bad-ang, are among the motives they consider.

According to Bad-ang the personal belongings to the victims were intact
