Magnitude 4.8 quake shakes Soccsksargen

Magnitude 4.8 shook Saranggani, South Cotabato and Sultan Kudarat on May 7.

According to Phivolcs, the earthquake was tectonic in origin and was located 12 kilometers from Kiamba, Sarangani.

Intensity IV – Palimbang, SULTAN KUDARAT; Maitum, Kiamba, SARANGANI, Lake Sebu, Tupi, SOUTH COTABATO
Intensity III – Gensan City, Maasim, SARANGANI
Intensity II – Bagumbayan, Esperanza, Kalamansig, Sultan Kudarat; Koronadal City, Norala, SOUTH COTABATO
Intensity I – Tacurong City, SULTAN KUDARAT

Instrumental Intensities:
Intensity II – Bagumbayan, Kalamansig, SULTAN KUDARAT
Intensity I – Lebak, SULTAN KUDARAT
