The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology reported that magnitude 5.2 earthquake of tectonic origin happened at 7:18 in the evening.
It was located 028 kilometersLocation = 06.78N, 125.59E – 025 km N 87° E of Digos City (Davao Del Sur) Reported Intensities:Intensity II – Don Carlos, Bukidnon
The quake was also felt :
- Intensity IV – Malungon, Sarangani;Koronadal City and Tupi,South Cotabato
- Intensity III – Alabel, Sarangani; General Santos City
- Intensity II – Kiamba, Sarangani
The cities of Davao and Kidapawan are not in the list but residents felt the strong ground movement.
Phivolcs says, residents should expect aftershocks.
