Maguindanao municipal logistics officer shot dead

DAVAO CITY —The logistics officer in the municipality of Datu Odin Sinsuat in the province of the Maguindanao del Norte was shot dead while her companion was still confined at a hospital when unknown assailants ambushed their vehicle late afternoon of April 17, in Barangay Semba in Datu Odin Sinsuat Maguindanao del Norte.

Police identified the victim as Christria Angela Aragoncillo, logistics management officer of the Municipal Social Welfare Office of Datu Odin Sinsuat while her colleague a certain Norhana is still being treated at a hospital.

 The Bangsamoro Ministry of Social Services and Development Office in a statement condemned the killing “There is no space for such senseless killing in the Bangsamoro Region. We condemn in the strongest terms this affront to workers in the field of social services.

The Statement

Datu Odin Sinsuat Municipal Police Station report showed that the victim was driving her Toyota Veluz with licensed plate MAW 2024 from the office one their way home when the incident happened.

The polie is still investigating the incident to identify the culprits behind the ambush and determien the motive.
