MANILA  (August 11) President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Monday launched sumbongsapangulo.ph, an online platform giving the public access to details of flood control projects nationwide and enabling them to report irregularities.

“We made it accessible so the public can identify the flood control projects in their area,” Marcos said in a Malacañang press briefing. He encouraged citizens to share feedback—whether positive or critical—on project outcomes and problems encountered.

Marcos emphasized that public participation is vital in spotting anomalies and ensuring transparency in the PHP545-billion flood control program implemented since July 2022. If evidence of corruption or wrongdoing surfaces, he vowed accountability measures will follow.

Urging Filipinos to send their reports through the site, Marcos assured, “I will personally read each one.” The launch fulfills his fourth SONA directive to audit flood control projects and strengthen accountability in infrastructure spending.
