MBHTE-BARMM turns over 10-classroom 2-story building to school in Sulu province

DAVAO CITY – The Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (MBHTE-BARMM) turned over a 10-classroom two-story school building to Hadji Buto School of Arts and Trades (HBSAT) in Jolo town, Sulu province on Thursday, May 11, the MBHTE said in a statement.

The construction of the school building started in March 2021 and was subsidized under the 2020 Bangsamoro Appropriations Act through the MBHTE’s Education Facilities Section (EFS).

“Constructions and repairs of school buildings and facilities across the 11 schools divisions in BARMM, including those for the higher education institutions and TESD training centers, were the result of the continuous monitoring and evaluation activities of the EFS which aims to identify infrastructure needs and ensure betterment of educational experiences of learners at all levels,” the MBHTE said.

Through its EFS, the MBHTE has been implementing infrastructure programs and projects across the BARMM for the betterment of school experience of the Bangsamoro learners.
