Military and Police strictly verify voters identity for BOL plebiscite

COTABATO CITY (January 21)— Military and police authorities are strictly verifying the identity of voters in today’s Bangsamoro Organic Law (BOL) plebiscite here.

Residents here went to their respective precincts early to cast their vote on the fate of the BOL.

The result of the plebiscite will determine if the current  form of government , the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM)  will be retained or be changed to Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

Last week, President Rodrigo Duterte visited the city and asked the resident to support the BOL in the hope of attaining genuine peace in Miindanao  and real autonomy for the bangsamoro people.-Edwin O. Fernandez/NewsLine.ph
