DAVAO CITY – In a proactive response to climate change and regional development, Misamis Occidental is enhancing its infrastructure. Governor Henry S. Oaminal recently inspected ongoing coastal road improvement projects, collaborating with Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) engineers at key locations including Malaubang, Pulot, Ozamiz City, and San Apo, as well as Maloro in Tangub City.

These upgrades are connected to new access roads leading to the Panguil Bay Bridge.

The improved road network is expected to facilitate cargo movement from Ozamiz port, allowing vehicles to bypass city centers, thereby easing traffic congestion and reducing travel time.

With the bridge now open, both Governor Oaminal and Congressman Ando Oaminal are advocating for the development of additional coastal routes to enhance public accessibility throughout the province.
