Mobile blood donation drive in Davao de Oro collects 54 blood bags

DAVAO DE ORO –The Provincial Health Office in Davao de Oro successfully gathered 54 bags of blood from personnel at the Provincial Government of Davao de Oro (PLGU) during a mobile blood donation drive held in the Capitol Lobby.

Part of the Blood Services Program by the Provincial Health Office, this initiative aimed to encourage voluntary blood donation and ensure a consistent supply of blood for the blood bank to meet the needs of patients.

The blood donation event was sponsored by the ComVal Capitol Multi-Purpose Cooperative, in line with the Cooperative Month celebration. This year’s theme for the celebration was “Cooperatives: Pioneering the Path to Recovery Amidst Modern Challenges of Climate Change and Food Security.”
