NBI-7 files charges against Christine Silawan’s ex-boyfriend

DAVAO CITY (March 18)— The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI)-7 has arrested Friday night , March 16, the 17-year-old ex-boyfriend of Christine Silawan, who stands as the principal suspect in the March 10 gruesome crime.

NBI director Dante Gierran told NewsLine.ph the NBI-7 arrested the suspect “A certain aka CJ Diaz, was taken for inquest before the prosecutor for the murder on the basis of the pieces of circumstantial evidence, cyber-evidence where he as seen together with Christine, his gadgets seized via search warrant issue by court and statement of subject’s own neigbors identifying him as a person walking with the victim per cctv.”

Flores was arrested in Barangay Bankal, Lapu-lapu City.

In a text message to NewsLine.ph, Gierran said “CJ confessed to the mother of the victim that he was with Christine that night but, as usual pointed to somebody authorship of the gruesome crime.”

The exchange of messages between Silawan and the suspect led to the identification of the suspect.
