OZAMIZ CITY —A lifeless but healthy newborn baby boy believed to be abandoned by her own mother was found along the river in Barangay Carmen Jimenez, Misamis Occidental, Friday morning, October 2, 2020.

In a Facebook post, Resty Ann Ramo Pangan asked the parents of the baby to give justice to the angel.

The baby was placed on top o a banana leaf with the placenta and umbilical cord attached to her.

The barangay leaders facilitated the burial of the baby.

Pangan in a post said, “Wala lang gyud naka hunahuna ning inahan ani or wala lang gyud utok????? Looy kaayo nakit-an sa daplin sa suba” (The mother of this baby did not even use her brain, didn’t have compassion, We found (the baby) along the riverside”.

She rants against the conscienceless mother saying others wanted to have a child but she abandoned hers.

The photos she uploaded even showed the placenta and fresh blood which they presumed to just have been abandoned before they arrived.

A netizen said “Dapat ipalutaw sa nagbukal nga mantika ang mama, walay konsensya (The mother should be dipped in boiling oil, she does not have a conscience)”.

Clarita Moder said, “Irresponsible parents, they enjoy making the baby and now they abandon– Karma in the making”.

Gleciria Abasto said, “If they cannot feed the baby, they should find a couple who wants baby, the angle is a victim of barbaric parents”.

Netizens claim they will try to look for the parents of the baby to give justice to an angel.-Expedita G. Roxas/Newsline.ph
