DAVAO CITY (May 28) –— Colonel Jose Eriel Niembra, will be the  Commander of the Presidential Security Group (PSG), replacing Brig. Gen. Lope Dagoy.

Niembra has been serving as the deputy commander of the PSG. He will assume on May 30.

He is a graduate of the Philippine Military Academy Class 1991.

Niembra served as the Deputy Commander of Task Force Davao, when  President Rodrigo Duterte was the Mayor of Davao.

Niembra will replace Dagoy, who is  now the brigade commander of  802nd Infantry Brigade of the Philippine Army  at Camp Jorge Downes, Ormoc City, Leyte.

But Dagoy will still serve President Rodrigo Duterte during his official trip to South Korean on June 4-6, 2018.

The PSG troopers are happy after learning Niembra  as their new commander saying he is a very cool, silent and workaholic leader.

His colleagues say Niembra,  is a  silent officer, he works the best he can  and seldom show up in gatherings “Maka-tropa sya,  he is disciplinarian at may malasakit talaga sa kapwa uniformed personnel,  we are happy for him, he is a good  officer.” -ezc/NewsLine.ph
