DAVAO CITY –— An online seller who was waiting for her husband to return from buying a medicine was stabbed to death along Quimpo Boulevard, this city at around 7:30 Sunday night.

Ecoland Police Station commander Police Major Noel Villahermosa identified the victim as Cinderella Rosales, 21, a resident Asuncion town in Davao del Norte.

Villahermosa told Newsline “The husband said his wife had an enemy in her business.” “The victim was hit on her neck,” the official added.

Witnesses told the police that the victim was standing when suddenly the suspect stabbed her while his companion was waiting on a motorbike nearby.

“It is possible that the suspect was enraged. The victim’s belongings were intact,” Villahermosa added.

Rosales’ husband works as a construction worker in Digos City, and they plan to live there for good.

Villahermosa theorized that the suspects were tailing the victim from Tagum City.

The suspects immediately fled the crime scene on a motorbike.

Ecoland police are still investigating the case while a hot pursuit operation is ongoing.
