Over P4.6 Million of shabu busted in Zamboanga City

DAVAO CITY –— The anti-drugs operatives seized P47,600,000,oo worth of suspected shabu in the joint drug buy bust operation inside a pention house in Barangay Putik, Zamboanga City at arounf 10:00 p.m on December 20.

In a Facebook post, Zamboanga City mayor John Dalipe said the operation of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the Zamboanga City police yielded seven ( 7) kilos with an estimated market value of 47,600,000.00 pesos.

Police identified the arrested suspect as Alkhumonie Ismael Usil, alias ‘al’, 31 years old, tricycle operator resident of Lamion, Bongao, Tawi-tawi.

The suspect is considered a high value individual by the authorities.

The illegal drugs were concealed in a paper bags and cigarette cartons.

Police authorities also seized , disposal lighters, a P1,000 bill mark money and 999 pieces of 1-thousand pesos boodle money are included.

Zamboanga city forensic unit 9 has taken all the recovered shabu for examination.

The suspect is now under the custody of Zamboanga City police Station 11 pending the filing of the charges before the court.

Mayor Dalipe lauded the Zamboanga City Police Office led by City Police Director PCol. Alexander Lorenzo for confiscating seven kilos of Methamphetamine Hydrochloride or shabu worth P47.6-million during an anti-illegal drug operation in Zamboanga City.

The illegal drugs were seized during a buy bust operation at a pension house in Barangay Putik where undercover policemen transacted with a tricycle operator from Bongao, Tawi Tawi Province for the sale of the contraband.
