ZAMBOANGA CITY — Police seized approximately P20.4 million worth of shabu from three suspected drug smugglers in Barangay Talisayan on Saturday afternoon, September 21.

According to the Police Regional Office-9 and Zamboanga City Police Office, the suspects—Mario Pawe Jalilul, 34, Alsid Ahiyal Sahiron, 36, and 22-year-old Ridsman Jikir Majini—are currently detained pending prosecution.

Brig. Gen. Bowenn Joey Masauding, director of PRO-9, reported that the suspects were arrested after three kilograms of shabu, valued at P20.4 million, were handed over during an entrapment operation in Sitio Ramon, Barangay Talisayan.

The operation was conducted based on information from confidential informants regarding the suspects’ involvement in large-scale drug sales in the city and neighboring provinces.
