P500K reward to find killer of Cotabato City Disaster chief

DAVAO CITY — Cotabato City Mayor Mohammad Ali Matabalao is offering a P500,000 reward money in exchange for information that may lead to the arrest of the suspects who killed Jose Raymond Marquez, the operations chief of the Cotabato City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office.

Matabalao offered the reward to give justice to the death of Marquez.

Marquez was killed by an unknown suspect on March 1, at Sinsuat Avenue, Cotabato City, while riding his motorcycle back home. Marquez, better known by his name Choco, sustained three bullet wounds from a caliber .45 pistol that caused his immediate death.

He was buried yesterday morning at the Marian Hills Memorial Park in Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao del Norte.
