PAL holdings president Lucio Tan Jr. passes away

DAVAO CITY — Lucio “Bong” Tan Jr., The son and namesake of billionaire Lucio Tan, died on Monday , November 11, 2019

Tan Jr., 53, was the president of PAL Holdings Inc., his sister Vivienne Tan confirmed in a statement.

Tan Jr. took the reins of PAL Holdings, the parent firm of Asia’s oldest carrier following the resignation of Gilbert F. Santa Maria.

The young Tan, was hospitalized Saturday after he collapsed during a basketball match in Mandaluyong City.
