PANABO CITY – The Task Force for Closures and Padlocking initiated the shutdown of multiple business establishments in Panabo City, Davao del Norte.

Eight establishments, mainly from the Central and Premium Market areas, were issued orders for closure by the local government. This decision came after these businesses failed to renew their business permits and neglected to settle their taxes and monthly rental fees.

The establishments received notices regarding their violations from the Business Permit and Licensing Office before the closure orders were enforced. To resume their operations, business owners are required to renew their business permits.

Officials from the City Economic Enterprise Management and Development Office, City Legal Office, City Treasurer’s Office, City Administrator’s Office, and Business Permit and Licensing Office were present during the closure operations.
