DAVAO CITY — Hundreds of residents from different areas in Basilan province trooped to Rizal Plaza in Isabela City yesterday afternoon to stand in solidarity with the Palestinians and call to stop the chaos between the Gaza Strip, the center of Palestine which has become bloody due to the war between the Israelis and the Palestinians.

The people of Basilan joined the feelings of the Palestinians and they extended their support in a solidarity rally.

Basilan Representative Mujiv Hataman explained the history of the war between the two countries but chided the United Staes for not treating the Palestinians as humans.

According to Hataman, the war between Israel and Palestine has been going on for a long time and the people are stuck. The people of Basilan feel that Israel and America ignore the value of life.

He called on the people of Basilan to stand up against Israel and stop bombing Palestinians.

Israel is recognized as having a 500-billion dollar economy, small debt large income, and high forex exchange reserve, but its economy is already affected by the war

The World Bank has already warned that the economy around the world will be affected due to the chaos.

The Basilan have been hurt because of the chaos in Gaza because they feel the suffering of their Muslim relatives who are in Gaza. They are far away from the war area, but they hope that their voice will be heard because, for them, the Palestinians have suffered for a long time,
