PH bet to Miss U 2023 ends journey

DAVAO CITY — Michelle Marquez Dee, the Philippines representative to the Miss Universe 2023 has ended her journey as among the top 10 of the 82 women competition for the crown in El Salvador.

Michelle tried her best to get the crown but failed.

Despite the failure, Filipinos took the social media platforms to show their love to MMD, saying she put up good fight.

They thanked Michelle for raising the flag.

For her part, Michelle thanked the Filipinos and all her supporters for their love and kindness.

Hours before the final round, she posted on her Instagram reel “Everything happens for a reason and the time has come to leave it all up to You.”

“Thank You for the strength, grace, and the tenacity to represent my country as loud and as proud as possible,” she added.

Her mother Melanie Marquez, who was crown Miss Young International in 1979 flew to El Salvador to give her support.
