Philippine Statistics Authority to establish extension office at Digos City Hall

DAVAO CITY —  Residents of Davao del Sur will no longer travel to Davao City to secure documents from the Philippine Statistics Authority-Regional Statistical Services after the agency forged an agreement with the City Government of Digos to lease a space at the Digos City Hall, to establish an extension office in said area.

The Lease Contract agreement was signed on march 24, 2024.

“With the establishment of CRS Outlet in Digos City, your residents will no longer endure the inconvenience of travelling to Davao City to obtain essential Civil Registry documents, said PSA-Davao region OIC Regional Director Randolf Anthony B. Gales during the signing ceremony.

The new office is aimed at enhancing accessibility to vital Civil Registry documents. The extension office will soon open its doors by 2nd quarter of 2024, to be located on the 2nd Floor of Digos Business Center.

The PSA’s Civil Registry System (CRS) Serbilis Outlet, will bring essential services of the agency to serve the residents of Digos and the people of Davao del Sur.

The Digos office will  Streamline processes and improve access  of the people to essential documents, fostering greater efficiency and convenience.

Gales conveyed his gratitude on behalf of his agency to local government officials.

The PSA commits “To o ensure the success of this endeavor and will work tirelessly with the local government of Digos City to ensure that this CRS Outlet operates seamlessly, providing prompt and reliable services to all,” Gales added.

City Mayor Joseph Fortich Cagas in his message emphasized the significance of the activity saying the office will enhance the delivery of public service not only to the people of Digos City but also for the entire Davao del Sur.

“We are now partners here in Digos City. We also commit to help PSA in any way that we can,” Cagas shared.

The event was also attended by, Davao del Sur Lone District Representative John Tracy F. Cagas, and CGSO/OIC OCEEM, Mr. Lolemeir C. Egos.
