Planned power interruptions in downtown Davao City on March 22-23

Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. (Davao Light) will conduct switching power interruptions on Saturday and Sunday, March 22-23, 2025, to facilitate line maintenance along J.P. Laurel Avenue.

To minimize disruptions, load transfers will be done for 45 minutes anytime between 11:00 p.m. (March 22) and 12:00 a.m. (March 23), affecting customers from the NBI Region XI Office (Bajada) to Bacaca, the Diversion Road entrance to Jade Valley, the Earth Grain Diversion Road underpass, Garcia Heights, El Rio Vista Village, Rolling Hills Subdivision, Robinsons Highlands, and nearby areas.

Additionally, customers from Orange Grove Hotel to Samulco Compound (Buhangin Road), Bajada Suites to Abreeza, Dona Vicenta Subdivision, Mitsui Bussan, Medical School Drive, portions of Circumferential Road, EMP Village (Marfori), Regino Compound, Regina Compound, Avida Towers Abreeza, and Redemptorist Church will experience temporary power disruptions.

  • 8-Hour Outage (11:00 p.m. March 22 – 8:00 a.m. March 23)
  • Affects customers from NBI Region XI Office (Bajada) to Abreeza, Mitsui Bussan, Regino Compound, Regina Compound, Avida Towers Abreeza, Bormaheco Compound, Inspiria, and Redemptorist Church.
  • 3-Hour Outage (11:00 p.m. March 22 – 2:00 a.m. March 23)
  • Affects customers from Bacaca Road corner Bajada to Zen Hotel (Garcia Heights), including portions of Circumferential Road.
  • Normalization Schedule
  • 45-minute power normalization (2:00 a.m. – 3:00 a.m. March 23)
  • Affects customers from NBI Region XI (Bajada) to Bacaca, Jade Valley, Earth Grain Diversion Road underpass, Garcia Heights, El Rio Vista Village, Rolling Hills Subdivision, Robinsons Highlands, and nearby areas.
  • 45-minute power normalization (8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. March 23)

Affects customers from Bajada Suites to NBI Region XI, Dona Vicenta Subdivision, Medical School Drive, portions of Circumferential Road, and EMP Village (Marfori).

Customer Advisory

Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience and will work to restore power on schedule or earlier. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, restoration may extend beyond the announced schedule.
